The primary role of this position is to facilitate the usage and adoption of V-Nova PresenZ in the VFX and 3D movie making industry. You will have the chance to be involved with early development of a revolutionary Extended Reality (XR) platform. V-Nova PresenZ has been designed to be used by VFX and Rendering Technical Directors since it plugs in to the standard tools of the trade. So we are looking for a profile internally that has similar experience, thinking process and vocabulary as the external target power users. 
 

After initial training on the V-Nova PresenZ authoring tools ( Maya/3DSMax Arnold/VRay Houdini Nuke and proprietary tools ) 
The candidate will interact with teams both inside and outside the company. 

Externally, The candidate will help the different productions made with V-Nova PresenZ: 

• By giving advice on best practice
• Help debug by looking at the intermediate results, logs, 3D scenes and compositing scenes.

Internally, the candidate will help in making our tools better by 

• Giving feedback on new developments and designs based on his/her experience
• Testing new features and versions
• Helping in the creation and updates of the documentation
• Creating Tutorials 

• Support internal and external CGI productions in our revolutionary format Presenz

• Internal testing 

• Documentation and tutorials 

• Coordinate with external production teams 

• Help with debugging/supporting external teams 

• Strong knowledge of Houdini 

• Experience with rendering engines like Arnold, VRay, Maya, 3DSMax or similar 

• Fluent English speaker (French would be a bonus) with excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Experienced in VFX/3D industry as a Technical Director 

• Collaborative team player 

• Used to Command-line tools and preferably some Python scripting basics. 

• Able to grasp an exciting new concept with genuine interest, trusting the innovators and driving execution through self-motivation
