    V-Nova’s Product Management is key to the success of the company and to enable the deployment of V-Nova’s product into all target market applications.


    By using a combination of V-Nova and non V-Nova offerings, services, labour, assets, hardware and software products, the Product Owner leads the creation of the value proposition and the solution which meet the customer’s requirements. The Product Owner is responsible both for revenues from target markets and associated development costs. They own the packaging, USP and technical implementation of the solution and are the primary point of contact both internally and externally in relation to the product.


    The business directions established by the Product Owner are the foundation of V-Nova’s solution and heavily influence sales, human resource, contract and delivery strategies for the engagement. As such, the Product Owner has the responsibility for the agreed P&L of his/her product, and is accountable for its overall success.



    • Product Management, Streaming Solutions

    The Product Owner, Streaming Solutions will manage V-Nova’s end-to end OTT video solutions, including definition, packaging, pricing and go-to-market strategy.

    The Product Owner will be responsible for:

      • Designing Streaming Solutions, powered by PERSEUS technologies and SDKs, that address the needs of Telcos, Broadcasters and ‘pure’ OTT players
      • Packaging the Streaming Solutions to maximise the value for various customers’ business models (such as VOD, TVOD, AVOD, Live Services, etc.)
      • Liaising with other parties, such as system integrators, online video platforms (OVPs), value added resellers (VARs), encoder and decoder vendors etc. to ensure a successful integration and revenue model.
      • Being the technical point of contact for the product and solutions in their remit
      • Managing the development backlog and prioritising the work in order to maximise value.
      • Ensuring that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the Scrum Team will work on next; and ensuring the Development Team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed.
      • Driving and facilitating the progress of their solution with all stakeholders, e.g. the engineering with the correct design and priorities, marketing on the appropriate positioning and messaging, partner management to support solution packaging and go-to-market, sales support and sales training on the solution, etc.
      • Packaging the Streaming Solutions offer (and relative business models), both as a standalone V-Nova solution and jointly with OTT video platform providers and system integrators, as well as vendors (both encoder vendors and decoder vendors, such as media player SDKs).
      • For the identified USPs, define pricing, marketing messages and collaterals, go to market approach.
      • Writing technical specifications for each use case, so as to support both internal software development / productisation and any customisation work for project.
      • Driving and facilitating suitable systems and processes for deployment and post-sales support (e.g., extranet).
      • Supporting sales and pre-sales activities and collecting specific requirements from customers to drive the feature roadmap.
      • Building and maintaining the roadmap of each solution


    • 5+ years’ experience working for operators or technology vendors in the video industry (streaming media & OTT delivery, TV platforms, or related fields).
    • Product management experience.
    • A strong technical background, with the ability to engage with software engineering teams and influence the engineering deliverables as necessary. Comfortable in both a technical dialogue (understanding the customer’s video infrastructure and technical objectives) as well as a business dialogue (explaining the cost reductions or ROI benefits of our products).
    • Work to pragmatically deploy finite engineering resources to get the maximum return in the short term, within a long term roadmap.
    • A proven track record delivering on, or exceeding, personal and company goals;
    • A hands-on approach and proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial start-up in which cross-functional teamwork and initiative are a must;
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and network across a broader team.

    • Demonstrated ability to have fun, and get things done
